My name is Olga Burdun.
We live in Crimea, in Lenino township. My son Yaroslav was born on May 19th, 2009. When he was 2 months old he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (blood cancer). Now he is 9 months old and last 7 months we’ve been spent in hospital (Simferopol children’s hospital, department of oncohematology). Yaroslav undergone through treatment but recently a relapse has occurred.

The only chance for salvation is bone-marrow transplantation. The doctors advise to have it done as soon as possible.The University Clinic of Würzburg, Germany (Universitätsklinikum Würzburg) is ready to accept my baby for this operation.The Clinic insisted on urgent operation.

The only one obstacle Yaroslav has on his way to the University Clinic of Würzburg and salvation is the estimate for the procedure in amount of 190 000 €. Recently the University Clinic of Würzburg has submitted the invoice.

Unfortunately, neither me nor any of my relatives can collect such a huge amount by our own efforts. I’m a single mother, my family is poor and the company I was employed with before this misfortune can not support me financially due to their poor situation. I have nothing to sell I don’t have apartment and vehicle. When we found out about that terrible diagnosis the father of Yaroslav decided to leave us alone with our troubles.

€ 190 000 EUR is too much for my family and friends to collect that is why I am reaching out for help to YOU, to everyone who can not pass by the other’s misfortune.
